Partnership for Colorado (PFC) is a
nonprofit coalition of four local federations working together to efficiently
offer as many choices as possible in employee giving campaigns.

Partnership brings variety and diversity to your workplace giving choices.
Our nonprofits cover community needs ranging from health and human services,
medical research, \ cultural awareness and the
arts, services to Seniors, substance abuse programs, domestic and sexual
violence prevention, self-sufficiency and empowerment, social
advocacy, animal welfare, environmental education and creating social
change.
Payroll contribution is an easy, efficient system that works and it allows
many people to give more money to the charities they care about most because it
is spread over a year’s time. Your gift is deducted from your paycheck each
month after taxes. Paycheck contributions are tax deductible.
Your company collects all donations designated to our member agencies and then
distributes the money to PFC, typically monthly or quarterly. Partnership for
Colorado then distributes these funds to our member agencies four times per year
according to donor designation.
Partnership for Colorado:
- Incorporated in the State of Colorado & is
a 501(c)(3) organization.
- Is a nonprofit coalition of
three local
federations working together to efficiently offer as many choices as possible
in employee giving campaigns.
- Keeps overhead costs of fundraising low by
working together and sharing resources.
- Represents over 200 nonprofit agencies.
- Offers a diverse and broad range of
programs and issues for you to support such as health, cultural
awareness, emergency assistance, sexual assault, social and economic justice.
- Has agencies located in Boulder County
and the
Pikes Peak Region, in addition to in the Metro Denver
area.
- Encourages employees to designate to the
agencies of their choice.
- Does not charges fees to the federations in
the Partnership. Funds received from the employer are distributed to the
appropriate federations without any contributions.
- Does not withhold funds for
“uncollectables” or “shrinkage”.
- Formed for two reasons:
1. To provide "one stop shopping" for employers and donors;
2. Federations can extend reach by sharing resources.
Each federation/partner is separate and unique. We work together to represent
each other in Employee Giving Campaigns in the seven county Metro area.
